Earlier this year, 20 emerging artists arrived in Madison for 4-H Art Lab, a high school weekend arts immersion program, where they learned and created in the areas of visual arts and drama/spoken word from professionals in the arts. Activities included a professional artist panel, tours of Chazen Museum, Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Overture Center, artwork creating sessions with professional artists, and much more. Additionally, while on UW-Madison campus youth gained pre-college knowledge through their interaction with college students and informational sessions on scholarships and college requirements.
Fortunately, engagement in 4-H Art Lab isn’t over! AND it isn’t limited to only those who participated in January!
