What Do Families Have to Do during Re-Enrollment?
The 4-H year goes from September 1-Augest 31st each year. Members who want to participate in any 4-H event in the 2026-2027 year will need to re-enroll. Enrollment opens in 4-H Online on September 10. There is a rollover period where our system needs to be updated. After September 10, members will be able to sign up.
This is an important step! Did you move this year? Change your email? New phone number? Make sure you add this information to your 4-H Online profile. If the office needs to contact you, we use what you put into 4-H Online. If it is outdated or incorrect, you are not receiving the most current information.
Another important thing to look at is Emergency contacts. If something happens during a 4-H program, these are the people who will be contacted. Please make sure this information is current.
The list of people who have access to 4-H Online is short. Our office support and I are the only local people who can access your information. The state has some access, but this data is mainly used for communication with us.
Since youth information has special protections, we can not and do not share contact information with anyone outside our vetted people. In an age of uncertainty around where your data is, know that 4-H Online is not misusing your information.
