A New Kind of 4-H Program

Many of us have enjoyed 4-H through traditional programming, project learning, showing at the fair, and connecting with club members. For some, 4-H is a cherished family tradition, passed down through generations. The 4-H program is all about supporting youth in their passions, and that’s where Club Grupo Folklorico comes in!

This vibrant club wanted a way to practice traditional folkloric dances from Latin American countries. Parents were eager to connect their children with these beautiful cultural dances, and kids were excited to learn and show off their skills. Enter 4-H! With the program’s support, the group can rent space for practice and find fantastic venues for performances.

On January 18th, this talented group dazzled the audience at the Trempealeau Library. Their performance was a delightful mix of dance history, cultural significance, and pure joy. It was an unforgettable event! The group will continue to spread their love for dance at the fair, local libraries, and other community events.
