It’s that time of year again! We’re excited to start a new 4-H year, and we want to share some important information about re-enrollment and volunteer training to help you get ready.
Re-enrollment for Families
Families planning to stay involved in 4-H must re-enroll.
- 4-H Online is currently locked. We’re working on updates, and the system will be available again on September 4 at 9:00 a.m.
- The re-enrollment deadline for families is November 1. To stay connected and receive our newsletters, please make sure you’re enrolled by this date.
- This is a great time to log in and update your contact information. Please check that your email, phone number, and mailing address are correct. Don’t worry—your information is kept confidential and is not shared outside of the Extension office.
Updates for Volunteers
We have a new policy this year to ensure the safety and protection of both our volunteers and the program.
- Volunteer re-enrollment deadline: If you are an active volunteer, you are strongly encouraged to re-enroll by November 1. If you do not complete this by then, you will have to do all the training all over again.
- Training and background check deadline: All required trainings and background checks must be completed by December 1.
- Need help with training? We understand that online trainings can sometimes be a challenge. If you’re having trouble completing them, please contact Andrea to get paper copies of everything you need.
Remember, a submitted application does not automatically mean you are an approved volunteer. An adult who is not an approved volunteer cannot be in the custodial care of youth.
Thank you for your dedication to 4-H. We look forward to another great year!
