We’re excited to announce that new member kits are now available to help support members who have joined 4-H within the last three years! These kits are designed to make 4-H easier to understand and more welcoming for new families—while also being a helpful refresher for current members.

Each kit includes three key resources:

📘 New Family Handbook

A must-have guide for families who want to better understand 4-H! This handbook includes:

• An overview of what 4-H is and how it works
• Common 4-H terms and what they mean
• Information about the Leaders Association and its role
• Where to find policies and answers to common questions

Every member can request a copy—just let us know!

🗂️ Pocket Guide to a Meeting

This handy, postcard-sized guide helps members follow along during the business portion of club meetings. It includes:

• A breakdown of the meeting agenda and what each part means
• Tips on how to participate during each section
• Instructions on how to make and amend motions

It’s a great tool for building confidence and learning essential leadership skills.

📣 Communication Plan

We’re improving how we connect with members and families! Each kit includes:

• An infographic with key communication channels and contacts
• A detailed letter explaining how to stay informed about deadlines, events, and opportunities

This plan ensures everyone stays in the loop and feels connected to the program.

🧰 How to Get the Kits

Each Club Leader will receive 10 kits to distribute to their members. Need more? No problem—just contact our office and we’ll send additional copies your way.
